BC Liquor Distribution Branch (BCLDB) did research into the rate of readership of their Grapevine employee magazine. With 4000 employees across the province, the magazine is the most effective way to reach everyone. However, the employees didn't connect with the dated-looking magazine and BCLDB wanted to increase readership.
Solution
The new look of Grapevine now resembles a contemporary food and wine magazine with big blocks of BCLDB's corporate colours and lots of visuals. Bits of information that are important to get across are highlighted so the reader can digest information quickly and easily.
Results
BCLDB employees have openly commented to the communications department on how they enjoy reading the Grapevine now. The new look and feel makes it fun to read and catch up on BCLDB news.
